Heaven’s Cry Reveals New Album "Wheels Of Impermanence" Release Date

Canadian metallers Heaven’s Cry have announced that their forthcoming Prosthetic debut will be titled “Wheels of Impermanence.” The band will release the new album on September 25th in North America, October 1st in the U.K. and October 5 in mainland Europe. The latter release date coincides with their headlining performance at the ProgPower Europe festival in the Netherlands. Prosthetic Records also commented on the album:

“Wheels of Impermanence is the third studio album from Heaven’s Cry — who were originally formed in the early ’90s — and will mark the first new music since the band took a seven-year hiatus in 2004. Their previous album ‘Primal Power Addiction’ was released in 2002 by Dutch label DVS Records, and received outstanding reviews from critics and fans alike. The band consists of Pierre St-Jean on vocals/guitar, Sylvain Auclair on vocals/bass, Eric Jarrin (ex-Despised Icon) on guitars, and René Lacharité on drums.”

Obey The Brave To Play New England Metal And Hardcore Festival 2012

Canadian metal/hardcore band Obey The Brave will make its U.S. debut at the 14th Annual New England Metal and Hardcore Festival on Friday, April 20th.

The new band features former members of Century Media recording artists Despised Icon and Mediaskare’s Blind Witness.

“Some of my favorite touring memories took place at the Palladium,” said vocalist Alex Erian. “So stoked to be back and can’t wait to play Obey The Braves’ first US show ever at the NEMHF. Shit’s about to get real, fellas.”

Obey The Brave is managed by Good Fight Entertainment and is now working on its debut album for a label to be announced.

The 14th Annual New England Metal and Hardcore Festival will take place Friday, April 20 through Sunday, April 22 at the Palladium in Worcester, Mass.

Progressive Metal Band Heaven’s Cry Reunite After Seven Year Hiatus

Canadian progressive metal band Heaven’s Cry has recently reunited. The band split in 2004 after releasing two LP’s (“Food For Thought Substitute” in 1996 and “Primal Power Addition” in 2002). The first reunion show happened earlier this month (Sept. 8) at Les Foufounes Electriques in Montreal as the supporting act for Katatonia. The band is currently recording its third LP for release in 2012. The current line-up includes:
