Zornheym Premieres New Song “The Opposed” From Upcoming Album

Swedish symphonic blackened death metal unit Zornheym premieres a new song entitled “The Opposed”, taken from the band’s upcoming new album. The single and the forthcoming album as a whole were recorded and mastered by Sverker Widgren (October Tide, Demonical, IXXI, Diabolical), with cover art created by photographer and designer Jens Rydén (Marduk, Thyrfing).

The line-up consists of former Dark Funeral multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Zorn, Facebreaker’s Bendler on vocals, guitarist and musical arranger Scucca, and Diabolical drummer Angst.

Demonical / Grave Finnish Tour Dates Cancelled

Dreamtide Music just issued thsi announcement about Demonical’s upcoming tour alongside Grave being cancelled:

“We are very sorry to inform you that the ‘You’ll Never See Finland tour’ featuring Grave (swe), Demonical, (swe) and Author (fin) has been canceled!

“The reason for the cancellation is ‘work related matters within the Grave camp,’ info that was passed on to us today during the afternoon (August 17). We have not received any further – nor more detailed explanation but the fact remains, the tour will not happen! The canceled shows are:

01.09 FIN – Tampere – Klubi
02.09 FIN – Oulu – Hevimesta
03.09 FIN – Turku – TVO

European Tour With Demonical And October Tide Announced

Swedish death metal battalion Demonical has joined forces with fellow countrymen, label-mates and melodic doom/death metal masters in one, October Tide, for a tour of Europe starting in September, 2016. The co-headlining run will be supported by Finland’s cold black metallers, Author.

October Tide will be touring in support of the recently announced fifth studio album, “Winged Waltz,” set to be released on April 22nd via Agonia Records. Formed in 1995 by Katatonia members, October Tide are well-seasoned in their field of melodic death/doom metal.

Spawned in March 2006 by members of Centinex, Demonical preserves the flame of sheer, traditional death metal. The latest EP “Black Flesh Redemption” was released to acclaim in 2015 and serves as a ptich black assault in the band’s Stockholm-style resume.

Demonical Streaming “Cursed Liberation” Track

Swedish death metal outfit Demonical has unveiled a new track from forthcoming EP, “Black Flesh Redemption.” Give “Cursed Liberation” a listen below.

The release of “Black Flesh Redemption” is scheduled for April 24th in Europe and May 5th in North America through Agonia Records. The band’s mastermind and bassist, Martin Schulman, commented on the new track by saying:

“So here it is, the thundering march of a cursed liberation. The track represents the band in its purest form and pushes Demonical forward on the path of relentless Stockholm-style death metal domination!”

Produced and mastered by vocalist Sverker Widgren, the four-track new EP was recorded in two studios: Amplified (drums) and Wing (rest of the instruments) between January and February, 2015. The cover artwork was created by Kontamination Design. Pre-orders are available at this location and the track listing is as follows:

Morfin Streaming “Viral Mutation” Track

US death quartet Morfin and FDA Rekotz have presented the official music video for “Viral Mutation,” the latest track to debut off the band’s forthcoming debut, “Inoculation.” Check out the video now below. “Inoculation” is set for a February 21 release on CD, vinyl and digital formats. The vinyl LP will be offered on red/black marbled (100 copies only) or standard black vinyl.

Comprised of ten classically-inspired death metal hymns – including a surprise cover tune – “Inoculation” is reminiscent of early Possessed, Death, Gorguts and Skeletal Remains. The album was recorded at Executer Studio in Pico Rivera, Calif., (Skeletal Remains), with artwork by Badic Art (Skeletal Remains, Goregast, Demonical, Dehuman Reign).

US death quartet Morfin has invaded Decibel Magazine’s cyberspace for the exclusive world premiere of “Cryostasis” from its upcoming debut, ten-track, “Inoculation.” Coming next month on FDA Rekotz, the band proudly offers a blood-soaked bite of the carnage to come. DEMONICAL releases brand new music video for “The Healing Control”

– November 18th, 2013 –

Swedish death metal force, DEMONICAL, have released a video for “The Healing Control”, a track taken from their critically acclaimed fourth full-length album, “Darkness Unbound.” The album was released earlier this week in North America via Metal Blade Records and is available in Europe on Cyclone Empire Records.

The video, the first from the above mentioned album, is a dark and morbid clip filmed in Italy and the UK and presents the inner essence of DEMONICAL and their sinister form of old-school death metal. “Darkness Unbound” was mixed & mastered by the bands vocalist Sverker Widgren at Wing Studios in Stockholm.

Abnormyndeffect Streaming New Songs From “Curtea Suprema”

Moldova’s Abnormyndeffect has made available for free download two new songs from the band’s second full-length album “Curtea Suprema” (“Supreme Court”).

Overtorture Streaming Song From Debut Album

Apostasy Records is now offering an exclusive pre-sale package for “At the End the Dead Await,” the debut from Swedish death metal brutes Overtorture. The package, which includes the album on digipak compact disc, t-shirt and a poster, is available at At The End The Dead Await will see an official release on January 25th.

Featuring veteran players from Grave, Coldworker, Demonical, and Insision, the album was self-produced by the band and mixed/mastered by Ola Englund (Six Feet Under) and made complete with the artwork of Gustav Germann (Guger Art) who has also worked with Hail Of Bullets and Vomitory.
