Shrapnel Parts With Drummer Simon Jackson

U.K. metal outfit Shrapnel just issued the following statement about parting ways with the band’s drummer and bringing on a new bassist:

“Due to both personal and professional clashes our drummer Simon is no longer in the band. We’re not going to start airing dirty laundry online but the rest of the band are more fired up than ever and are looking forward to playing with someone new.

“On another note: we want to welcome Cai to the band. He has stepped in and learnt everything super fast. He’s an insanely great finger player and we’re excited to move forward with our new album and live shows with Cai on bass.

“All dates booked are still covered and we can’t wait to play some new material for you guys.
We are looking for a permanent drummer, so if you’re up for it send us a message, video or link etc.

“Onwards and upwards and … thrash.”
