Wvrm To Embark On December Tour Supporting “Can You Hear The Wind Howl” EP

Greenville, South Carolina-based outfit Wvrm has announced a run of North American December tour dates supporting their newly unleashed EP, “Can You Hear The Wind Howl”.

Deploying six tracks in barely nine minutes, Wvrm’s “Can You Hear The Wind Howl” is a brutally-charged and volatile display of metallic grindcore unrest. Wvrm’s caustic tones, belittling percussion, and searing vocals coalesce into an onslaught fans of Dead In The Dirt, The Drip, Torch Runner, and similar acts should not pass by. Can You Hear The Wind Howl was recorded at Converse Rubber Tracks, engineered and mixed by Kurt Ballou (Converge, Black Breath, Sect), mastered by Brad Boatright (Integrity, All Pigs Must Die, Nails), completed with artwork by Searing Limb, and released in late September through To Live A Lie Records.

Wvrm’s “Can You Hear The Wind Howl” can be streamed in its entirety below:

Fit For An Autopsy Premieres New Live Video “Black Mammoth” & Releases Deluxe Edition Of “The Great Collapse”

Fit For An Autopsy released a deluxe edition of its latest album, “The Great Collapse” yesterday, October 27th. This ‘The Rain City Deluxe Version‘ version of the effort comes with a bonus set which they tracked live at Rain City Recorders in Vancouver, BC. A live video from that set for “Black Mammoth” can be seen below.

Says the band of it:

“As kids, we always loved the bootleg live recordings and bonus live tracks on metal records, and it seems like bands aren’t releasing live material as much today in the metal world. Everyone has a slick and modern production, so we thought it’d be challenging and fun to showcase a more raw live performance on record. Rain City did a killer job capturing the band, and Will Putney’s live mix did it justice. Hope you enjoy it!”

Bonus tracks included on the album include:

10 – “Hydra” (live at Rain City)
11 – “Heads Will Hang” (live at Rain City)
12 – “Iron Moon” (live at Rain City)
13 – “Black Mammoth” (live at Rain City)

New Song “Shallow Truths For Shallow Minds” Posted By Like Moths To Flames

Like Moths To Flames have premiered new track “Shallow Truths for Shallow Minds” via over at this location. You don’t have to go anywhere, however, since the song is also right in the player at the bottom of this article.

“‘Shallow Truths for Shallow Minds’ is definitely an oddball for the record but I think people who appreciate the more aggressive side of the band will gravitate towards it. Mixing melody and heavy is sometimes easier said than done but I think this is a great representation of the different things the band can do,” said singer Chris Roetter.
