I think people are going to be surprised at his brutality!” The first album to feature Gee Anzalone (drums), the Italian drummer has laid down an impressive performance to provide the perfect backbone to the DragonForce sound, which of course still boasts the band’s trademark insanely-fast solos, courtesy of guitarists Herman Li and Sam Totman. Recording the bulk of the album at Fascination Street Studios, Sweden, with producer Jens Bogren, the band also laid down tracks while touring their Killer Elite “best of”-album, utilizing Lamerluser Studios, (London, UK), Dark Lane Studios (Witney, UK), as well as the band’s own Evil1 Studios in Charleville-Mezieres, France and Shredforce One Studios (CA, USA).

3teeth Posts “Away From Me” Music Video

Los Angeles’ thriving industrial band 3Teeth today premieres a video for brand-new single, “Away From Me.” The track is found on the band’s upcoming album, “shutdown.exe,” which is due out on May 19th via OMF Records.

Alexis Mincolla (vocals) comments: “I believe we live in very regressive times despite our huge advances in technology and communication. We’re still territorially pissing like cavemen, and the tragedy of the commons has become an accepted way of life.

“The song is really about how strong willed minds can still stay autonomous and empowered even in the face of all this. I wanted the video to represent this from a human story rather than a political one as it’s becoming more and more apparent that geopolitics outweigh the human experience in terms of what is navigating our world.”

3Teeth will be mounting a spring/summer tour in May in support of the album, which kicks off with a performance at Blackest of the Black Festival in Silverado, CA and includes dates with Rammstein and headlining shows across the country.
