Dee Snider Posts New Music Video “Lies Are A Business” Online

Former Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider has posted a new music video online for the song, “Lies Are A Business.” You can check it out below. The song is the sixth from his “For The Love Of Metal” to receive the music video treatment. Speaking about the song, Snider stated:

“The socio-political message of ‘Lies Are A Business’ is more important at this moment in time than ever before. The movement toward more controlling, all-powerful governments continues to grow and the current nightmarish situation in Venezuela is emblematic of the direction our world is sadly heading in. The incredible video for this song by award winning director Leo Liberti of Liberta Filmes truly captures my message with powerful metaphoric imagery while taking nothing away from the metallic power of the song!”

Graf Orlock Premiere New ‘Logan’-Inspired Song “Alternate Route To Mexico”

Graf Orlock premiere another new song titled “Alternate Route To Mexico” streaming for you below. The track arrives ahead of the group’s fourth full-length effort, “Examination Of Violent Cinema, Volume 1“, which will hit stores on December 07th via Vitriol Records.

Alternate Route to Mexico by Graf Orlock

Says frontman Jonathan Schmidt of it:

“This song was inspired by the 2017 film Logan. Although this is from the comic book world which would typically be a no-go for Graf Orlock, the hamfisted metaphor of ‘the mutant’ was too enticing to pass up.

It takes little leap to get the reflection of our current world malaise that an apocalyptic and governmentally destructive action movie set in 2026 embodies.

It is a shitstorm of discriminative legislation and mass paranoia that I am sure all Americans can relate to. Added to that, Wolverine is a great character due to unmitigated rage and lifelong asocial behaviors.”

The Charm The Fury Announces Decision To Split Up

Dutch metal band The Charm The Fury have announced that the band will cease to exist for the time being.

The band states: “Unfortunately, we have collectively decided that, for the time being, The Charm The Fury has come to an end. Sadly, the band could not be sustained in its current line-up for multiple, complicated reasons. With the departure of our old guitarists Mathijs Parent and Rolf Perdok, many things changed. Also, the financial strain that the band was placing on some of us was becoming too hard to bear. Suffice to say, the current situation could not be maintained and a decision eventually had to be made.”

Over the years the band became well-known in their genre and played on every major festival in 2017, including Download UK, Graspop, Pinkpop and various support slots including Korn, Papa Roach and Marilyn Manson.

False Martyr by Witching

Explain the band:

“The message of ‘False Martyr’ embodies the current state of affairs in our world, the unheard voices finding their way to the light. Whatever our tormentor may be, death, addiction, depression, anger, we experience this discomfort — and silenced, it builds pressure. Our strengths as a band will help us overcome past issues. With a mighty noise, we release this negativity into the abyss and bathe in the light of bliss.”
