Taake’s Entire U.S Tour Cancelled? – Appears This Tour Is Done…

Soon after learning that the San Diego, CA and Portland, OR dates of Taake’s planned North American tour have been cancelled Metal Insider took a closer look into every remaining show of the tour, and what was found out is this: all but two of the venue websites have either updated the show status to “cancelled” or removed the date completely. In other words: The results look as if the tour is a no-go.

Nashville Pussy Announces New U.S. Tour Dates

Nashville Pussy has announced the second leg of an ongoing North American tour in support of latest studio album “Up The Dosage,” released this past January via SPV/Steamhammer.

The second leg starts December 5th with a hometown show in Atlanta, GA and runs through December 20th in Philadelphia, PA. Support on the tour will come from Valient Thorr and Against the Grain. A complete list of dates can be found below.

Vattnet Viskar To Play Maryland Death Fest 2015

Currently in writing mode for a sophomore album, New Hampshire’s Vattnet Viskar is proud to announce the band will join the likes of Amorphis, Bloodbath, Neurosis, Triptykon, Vallenfyre, Napalm Death, among many others at 2015’s Maryland Deathfest.

The band is set to appear at the Rams Head Live during the festival (May 21st – 24th), with an exact date and performance time to be announced soon.

Vattnet Viskar released debut full-length, “Sky Swallower,” last year via Century Media. The band will also be back on the road this fall with Pallbearer and Tombs for a North American tour. See below for all upcoming dates.

ASG To Record New Album, Announces Tour Dates With Weedeater

North Carolina’s gnarliest band, ASG has announced a two week run of east coast dates with label-mates Cough and stoner metallers Weedeater. The tour kicks off on April 12th in Charleston, South Carolina and runs up and down the east coast before ending in Durham, North Carolina on April 28th. A full listing of dates is included below.

ASG plans to enter the studio in late Spring to record the band’s Relapse debut with producer Matt Hyde (Slayer, Children of Bodom, Fu Manchu). More details will be announced shortly. Additionally, the band has a special appearance at next year’s Hellfest in France with more festival appearances to be announced shortly.

Weedeater Announces New U.S. Tour Dates With Cough

After a few weeks off, following nearly three years of semi-constant touring, Cape Fear’s sludge-slingers Weedeater decided they have been off the road long enough, and that it’s time to go reap some more hard-partying souls.

Set for the band to celebrate 4:20 on the road mid-tour, the newest endeavor will burn its way through a pile of East U.S. cities in the second half of April, from New England to the tip of Florida. Weedeater has commissioned ASG and Cough to be the pummeling backup for the entire tour, with sixteen dates locked-down and more likely to be confirmed in the weeks ahead.
