Children Of Bodom To Start Recording New Album Coming March

Children Of Bodom plan to enter the studio around the end of March to begin tracking their new album. The band will be recording at their own Danger Johnny Studios in Helsinki, FIN and are currently in the middle of writing new material for the new release. Between The Buried And Me Kicking Off Tour With Devin Townsend Project

Between The Buried And Me kicks off the “Transcending The Coma” co-headlining trek with Devin Townsend Project this evening.

Set to commence in Nashville, Tennessee and conclude in Vancouver, British Columbia on October 15th, the near month-long journey (which includes support from Fallujah) will find Between The Buried And Me performing “Coma Ecliptic” in its entirety.

Airbourne Posts “Breakin’ Outta Hell” Title Song

The flag for rock ‘n’ roll has been raised high! Aussie rock group Airbourne just shared the first song from new album “Breakin’ Outta Hell.” Check out the title track below.

The album is the band’s Spinefarm Records debut and its due out September 16th. Airbourne will also crash North American shores this fall, as well, embarking on a tour that runs from September 12th through October 14th.

Hatebreed Announces New Album “The Concrete Confessional”

Hatebreed is currently in the studio with longtime producer Zeuss finishing up work on “The Concrete Confessional.”

The record will be mixed by Josh Wilbur (Lamb Of God, Megadeth) and tentatively scheduled for release in the spring of 2016 via Nuclear Blast worldwide.

In support of “The Concrete Confessional,” Hatebreed will embark on a North American headlining tour starting on May 13th. Joining the trek are modern metal stalwarts DevilDriver, label mates Devil You Know, and Metal Blade recording artists Act Of Defiance. See below for the tour routing.

Act Of Defiance Gearing Up For New North American Tour Dates

After recently completing a North American tour with label-mates Allegaeon, plus some shows with Killswitch Engage just before the New Year, Act Of Defiance is ready to return to the road for another headlining trek.

Drummer Shawn Drover comments: “After just getting home from a great co-headlining tour with our good friends in Allegaeon, we are super stoked to get right back on the road for round two, with our 2016 North American tour. There were lots of cities that we were unable to play on our first go around, so this time we wanted to hit as many places as we can to keep promoting Birth And The Burial shortly after the holiday season. We really want to tour as much as possible for this record and bring 100% true heavy metal to as many people as possible. See you on the road!”

Wovenwar Kicks Off U.S. Tour Dates

The post-As I Lay Dying band Wovenwar returned to the road last night with Atreyu, kicking off a month-long trek including support from Unearth and Beartooth on select dates.

Atreyu Streaming Entire New Album “Long Live”

Fresh off a set at last weekend’s RiotFest in Chicago, Atreyu is gearing up for this week’s release of “Long Live,” due out out September 18 via Search + Destroy/Spinefarm Records.

Wovenwar Adds More U.S. Tour Dates

Wovenwar will be back on the road in September with Atreyu, with the tour also featuring support from Unearth and Beartooth.

If that wasn’t enough, Wovenwar has confirmed the band join Unearth for a batch of shows in September and October. Additionally, Wovenwar has been tapped to support Sevendust for three tour dates in the midwest from October 21 – 23. See the complete list of dates below.

Southern California’s Atreyu is gearing up for the September 18 release of new album “Long Live” on Search + Destroy/Spinefarm Records. Today the track “Start To Break” also comes online – check out the lyric video below.

Of the song, frontman Alex Varkatzas said, “Life can get to you. This world is so fast-paced, and in trying to keep up with it, we lose part of ourselves. This song is about fighting through those negative emotions and embracing the challenge.”
