Saints Of Death Streaming New Self-Titled EP

Vancouver, BC’s Saints Of Death (a name inspired by the Mexican folklore of Santa Muerte) is proud to officially unleash a debut self-titled EP featuring five annihilating tracks. You can stream all the songs below, and vocalist / bassist Twan Holliday comments:

“We think this EP should be listened to with open ears. Breaking the mold of typical sub-genre based metal, we try to cover all types of metal with lyrical content aimed at the problems with today’s government, moral value, and the supernatural occult.

“We think it should be received as another solid attempt to raise awareness of the wrongs of society and another conscience effort to make change along with wanting new fans to listen to our music and enjoy the quality of musicianship, engineering and lyrical content. We chose our favorite 5 tracks out of the first 7 we wrote to put on this self-titled EP.”

Cold Snap Posts “Silent Killer” Music Video

Cold Snap has partnered with Bloody-Disgusting.com to release a new music video for the song “Silent Killer” (also available below).

The song comes off third studio album “World War 3,” slated for release on January 13th. In this video, the members of Cold Snap are held captive like rats by a mad scientist in his laboratory. He tries to poison them, however… the band fight back with music!

“From my point of view, a silent killer lives inside every one of us as our conscience. With most people, whenever they do something bad their conscience will haunt them until they manage to straighten things up” says bass guitarist Zoran ‘Zoki’ Ernoic. “Some people however, simply do not have a conscience, and therefore karma always must step in and get them in the end.”

The video was directed by Tin Majnaric of MMstudio23, and filmed in the band’s hometown of Varazdin, Croatia. Vocalist Jan Kerekes continues, “We also had a small problem with the cockroaches, they are fast little critters and they don`t give a hoot about being on camera. They kept escaping and hiding from us!”

Savage Messiah To Enter The Recording Studio

Savage Messiah has confirmed plans to enter the studio on July 1st to begin recording an as-yet untitled new studio album.

The band will be working on the follow-up to 2012’s “Plague of Conscience” with producer Scott Atkins (Sylosis, Behemoth) at Grindstone Studios in Suffolk. Savage Messiah frontman Dave Silver comments:

“We’re beyond excited to be fast approaching the day when we’ll head off back into Grindstone Studios, to work once more with Scott Atkins on what we can promise will be the most metal Savage Messiah CD yet! We’ve approached the writing process in a totally old school manner; just four guys in a rehearsal space getting a vibe going, playing heavy metal! Which has really allowed us to express the chemistry within the band and build on the musical foundation we laid with ‘Plague of Conscience’.

“We’re pleased to be working with Scott Atkins for the third time, as he understands the band and has always delivered above and beyond for us and we’ve no doubt that he’ll get the best out of us once again. We’ll be releasing titles, track listings, artwork etc. in due course. In the meantime, look out for plenty of studio video updates which we’ll be posting over at our official YouTube channel. So stay tuned!”
