Queens Of The Stone Age’s Josh Homme Kicks Female Photographer In The Head At Live Show

Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme can be seen kicking a female photographer in the head in a clip streaming below, which was captured at KROQ Acoustic Christmas past Saturday.

The photographer – Chelsea Lauren – said the incident was unprovoked and that Homme was even smiling before he struck her. In the video, Homme can be seen walking past Lauren, then backtracking a step to kick away her camera.

“It was obviously very intentional,” she said.

It’s unknown if the 44 year-old Homme was under the influence of alcohol or drugs on Saturday. Minutes after the incident with Lauren, he pulled out what appeared to be a knife and cut his own forehead, producing a wound that bled for the rest of the performance. At one point, he called the sold-out audience “retards” before insulting the night’s headlining act, Muse. “F— Muse!” he exclaimed. He also encouraged the crowd to boo him, told everyone to take their pants off, saying, “I want to give you all a night you’ll never remember.”

Homme has since issued the below apology for the matter:

Marty Friedman Debuts Music Video For “Self Pollution”

Marty Friedman (ex-Megadeth) has released a new video for his track “Self Pollution” off his latest outing, “Wall Of Sound“. Jimmy Cheng directed the clip streaming below.

Says Friedman of the video:

“This video is the first to feature my live band, with Kiyoshi on bass, Chargee on drums and Jordan Ziff on guitar. These guys (and girl) outshine me every night on tour. The video is loosely based on some of the fun ways you can pollute yourself (hence the title) and takes you from serenity to a chaotic climax, just like real life does sometimes.”
