Avenger To Reissue Comeback Album, “The Slaughter Never Stops”

Metal, classic metal, thrash metal… NWOBHM! These are the defining genres that
best describe Avenger. Not a random stab at a description, but an archive of metal styles the band have molded themselves to and related to since their NWOBHM founding over three decades ago.

Avenger’s first two albums, “Blood Sports” (from 1984), and “Killer Elite” (from 1985), were recently reissued on CD via Dissonance Productions, and on LP via Back On Black Records. The reissues are packed with previously unreleased and rare bonus tracks, and booklets with previously unseen photos.

The series now continues: Avenger’s comeback album, “The Slaughter Never Stops” (originally released in 2014, and available as limited edition CD only), will be available on CD, and for the first time ever on LP, with a brand new cover artwork painted by Roberto Toderico (Tygers Of Pan Tang, Quartz, Mythra).

The CD version will hit the streets on September 21 – release date of the LP reissue will be announced shortly.

Nekrokraft Signs Deal With The Sign Records

Nekrokraft just signed a deal with The Sign Records to release new album “Will O’ Wisp.” The label comments:

“This Swedish act made it’s mark on the local scene and during the last couple of years evolved into one of the most fearsome extreme metal bands to come out of the Linköping region. The band’s debut album Will o’ Wisp will be out 4th of November.

“Nekrokraft is melodic, blackened thrash metal with moments of explosive brutality and speed. Keeping and old-school approach without being retro, Nekrokraft offers both classic metal influences and extreme metal influences such as melodies, harmonies and blast-beats.

“Erupting like a lava pillar from the Ostrogothia soil that have provided the world with countless of breathtaking metal and rock acts during the last decade. The intrusive chill of Nekrokraft will raise hairs on the backs of both man and beasts.”
