Leif Edling Discusses New Band The Doomsday Kingdom

Led by Candlemass’ Leif Edling, The Doomsday Kingdom’s demo EP “Never Machine” will be out on November 25th. However, this is only the beginning of a new reign of doom metal.

“I’m so happy that things are moving in the right direction for The Doomsday Kingdom!”, Doomfather Leif comments. “I’ve been putting my heart and soul into the new EP and album for about two and a half years now. So it’s very relieving to finally see an end to all the work. Soon the world will hear the sound of the catacombs coming to life!”

He goes on to say, “I’m currently doing the final touches to the album. It is recorded, mixed and mastered, and has come out absolutely fantastic! Just a few graphic things left with photos, booklet etc. and then it will be ready. I’m very proud of this album! It sounds so good, therefore the visual aspect has to be just as great, when it sees the light of day in March next year! In the meantime, I hope people will enjoy the EP ‘Never Machine’. It’s rough, it’s raw, it’s direct! It gives a hint of what’s coming!”

At Roadburn in April 2017, the band will play a first-ever performance with the recovered Leif Edling live on stage. “Never Machine” is now available to pre-order digitally here and will featur the following track listing:

01. Never Machine
02. The Sceptre
03. Zodiac City
04. The Whispering

Henosis Album “Apotheosis Pulsio CLVI” Seeing Vinyl Pressing

Blood Harvest Records is proud to present Henosis’ “Apotheosis Pulsio CLVI” for the first time on vinyl, set for international release on December 1st.

Released earlier this year on extremely limited-edition cassette, “Apotheosis Pulsio CLVI” is now seeing a double-7″ pressing courtesy of Blood Harvest. The label comments:

“Their sound is a hideous and cavernous one, at once ancient yet never smacking of ‘retro’ retread. The five songs presented by these hooded demons here exhibit a keen understanding of what drove early Southern European black metal like Mystifier and Varathron into the catacombs of history, as well as the blackened death metal darkness of classicists like Necrovore and Sadistic Intent. Now, the crypt is open even wider, and thus emerges Henosis’ Apotheosis Pulsio CLVI. Step inside…”

Ghoul Announces “Weapons Of Mosh Destruction” Tour Dates

Ghoul – the hooded hooligans of Creepsylvania – are bursting blood vessels to finally announce the second installment of the Weapons Of Most Destruction Tour.

Set to launch this April, team Ghoul will lay waste to seven unsuspecting metropolises throughout the West Coast alongside hardcore thrash mutant accomplices, Iron Reagan, and experimental punk/hardcore rippers, Occultist.

Following their pillage, the band will spread ghoulish delectables all over Oakland headlining the first night of this year’s edition of Brainsqueeze Fest. Full details on the trek are available below.

Proclaims Ghoul from the band’s underground headquarters: “Loyal numbskulls, the Weapons Of Mosh Destruction Tour is rearing its ugly head again, and Ghoul is looking forward to burning your towns, raping your pets, and drinking your beer as we unmercifully bombard the West Coast of your United States on our way to the Tankcrimes Brainsqueeze in Oakland, California. In the unlikely event that you are lucky enough to survive the blitzkrieg assault of Iron Reagan and Occultist, you will be decapitated and disemboweled by Ghoul’s razor sharp riffs, and after that, our razor sharp razors. All survivors will be brought back to the catacombs in cages, where Ghoul will keep you alive on a cocktail of morphine and energy drinks while we carve away chunks of your flesh to devour while you watch in horror… I may have said too much. Come to the show! Nothing bad will happen to you!”
