European Tour Set To Commence By Immortal Bird

Blackened death grind unit Immortal Bird will bring it’s surly odes overseas for a European live takeover later this month. Set to begin October 21st and level fifteen cities through November 4th, the journey marks the band’s first time ever performing in European territory. The band will be joined by French grindcore maniacs Moshpig. See all confirmed dates below.

Immortal Bird continues to tour in support of the critically-adored “Empress/Abscess” full-length, released in 2016 via a collaborative effort with Broken Limbs Recordings (vinyl/cassette) and the band’s own Manatee Rampage Recordings (CD/digital).

“It’s our first time touring Europe,” says vocalist Rae Amitay. “We’re going out with a super intense and fun French grindcore band, Moshpig, hitting four countries in two weeks, and a couple of the highlights will be the Damnation Prefest in Leeds and Bilbao Deathfest in Spain with Sete Star Sept, Pulmonary Fibrosis, Internal Suffering, and a bunch more. Very stoked to get out of the US for a minute!”

Wildspeaker Signs With Prosthetic Records

Prosthetic Records is pleased to add Dallas, TX’s Wildspeaker to the label’s ever expanding roster. The blackened crust band consists of vocalist Natalie Kahan, guitarists Nelson Favela and Zak Pitts, bassist Garry Brents (Cara Neir), and drummer Ricky Rivera.

Since forming in 2014, Wildspeaker has several independent releases, as well as through different labels. Most recent album, “Guilt and His Reflection,” is a split with crust/death/blackened duo Cara Neir on Broken Limbs Recordings.

Now signed to Prosthetic, Wildspeaker is currently writing and recording for a second full-length album, expected to drop in the spring of 2017. Vocalist Kahan comments on the singing and upcoming album:

“Prosthetic Records has put out so many of our favorite bands. It’s an honor to become part of the current roster with North, Deathrite, Skeletonwitch, and so many others. I think Wildspeaker’s newest album will be our strongest material yet. We can’t wait to share it. See you on the road!”

Cara Neir Announces New Album “Perpetual Despair Is The Human Condition”

Coming off the heels of a split with fellow Texan group Wildspeaker, Cara Neir’s newest full-length album “Perpetual Despair is the Human Condition” will be released through Broken Limbs on October 14th, 2016. The band comments:

“‘Perpetual Despair is the Human Condition’ is a darker unvarnished continuation of our album ‘Portals to a Better, Dead World.’ It was lyrically and musically written with a gasp of air before being pulled back down into a bleak mental state, as each song comes from a very desperate and hopeless mindset.

“The album plays as a vicious and harrowing cycle of what it is to be human, even considering the variables of social class and the scale of morality. There are positives and negatives, but there will always be conflict and despair.”

2. Normalcy
3. Pushing Failure
4. Bound by Believers
5. Window to the Void
6. Trials of the Lost
7. For You
