Dead By Wednesday Releases “Phoenix Rising” Video

New Haven based group Dead By Wednesday just released a new video for “Phoenix Rising.” The track comes off latest album “Darkest of Angels” and can be seen below.

Hell Night Premieres New Song “Feed Hate” From Upcoming New 7-Song EP “Human Shelves”

Hell Night premieres a new song entitled “Feed Hate”, taken from the upcoming new 7-song EP “Human Shelves”, which will be out in stores this fall. Shadows Fall vocalist Brian Fair has recently joined the band. Hell Night will play its first live show with Fair at the Food Bar Lounge in St. Louis, MO on August 18th.

Dead By Wednesday Recruits New Member Marc Rizzo

Connecticut metal outfit Dead By Wednesday, currently enjoying the success of EMP Label group release “The Darkest of Angels,” is proud to announce the newest addition to the band’s lineup.

Dead By Wednesday has decided to add a second guitar player: none other than Marc Rizzo of Soulfly and Cavelera Conspiracy, and original songwriter / founding member of Ill Nino. A long-time friend and collaborator of DBW’s drummer, Opus, Rizzo is featured on DOA track, “The Surgeon.”

He will be writing and recording on the group’s next album, and doing select tours and shows around his Soulfly schedule. Marc and DBW are excited about this new venture. Marc has released the following statement:

“I am excited to announce that I will be joining one of my new favorite bands Dead by Wednesday! When I have time off from Soulfly, I will be playing shows and recording a new record with DBW!!! DBW newest record is one of the best records of this year, and I’m stoked to play live with these guys soon!!! LET’S shred!!”

Dead By Wednesday premieres a new song and music video for “Live Again”featuring Brian Fair (Shadows Fall) on guest vocals. The track is taken from the band’s upcoming new album “Darkest Of Angels”, which will be out in stores May 20 via EMP Label Group/eOne Music.

Shadows Fall Checks In From The Recording Studio

Shadows Fall is holed up in the studio recording a new, as-yet-untitled album. The new material is expected to see release some time in 2012. Shadows Fall front man Brian Fair has now checked in from the studio with the following brief recording update:

“Great day in the studio tracking vocals. Huge thank you to Jim at Zing for letting us work there after the snow storm knocked out the power at Adam D’s. Power has been restored and tomorrow we start acoustic guitars in the morning and continue with more vocals at night.”

Shadows Fall is currently in the recording studio working on a new album to be released in 2012. The band will be chatting live with fans from Zing Recording Studios today at 5:00 PM EST. You can access the live chat by heading over to this location.

Band front man Brian Fair also recently posted the following brief recording update via Facebook:

“Jason moving onto the next tune. This one is way different then the last and different for us in general. Very COC ‘Blind’ era vibe with BIG rock riffs and a serious swing to it. Like I said, this record covers a lot of ground musically.”
