New Music Video “To Your Brethren In The Dark” Released By Satyricon

Norway’s Satyricon released the new video clip for “To Your Brethren In The Dark” courtesy of Metal Injection at this location, or even easier – just down in the player below. The song is taken from the band’s latest album “Deep calleth upon Deep,” which was released on September 22nd via Napalm Records.

Speaking about the new video, frontman and band visionary, Satyr tells us, “I wanted ‘To your brethren in the dark’ to be a director’s interpretation of the song, rather than a band performance type of thing. Seeing what we do through the eyes of another artist is always interesting to me and just like the song, the video has become a little bit of a journey on it’s own. ‘To your brethren in the dark’ is definitely one of the flagship songs on the record. It is about emotion, our nature, the spirits, the autumn, the sombre and rainy days, those who we lost and the ones who we have not met yet. You could say it is a tribute to the sorrow in man and to the drama of the nature we surround ourselves with. A song for the dark towers of the past and those who will rise in the future. Pass the torch to your brethren in the dark.”

Disciples Of Power Issues 2013 Year-End Recap

Disciples of Power has checked in with the following year-end recap thanking fans and promoters:

“2013 was a great year at the DOP camp. An amazing comeback show in Edmonton that will resonate in our minds for some time. Thanks to Tyson, Cara and crew at the pawnshop for making it such a success! Also thanks to Nate for including us in the Calgary Metal fest and Slim for recording it all! Also the last minute show at DV8 to raise funds for the food bank wouldn’t have been possible with out Rod’s help and enthusiasm.

“We’d also like to thank all the bands we have played with in 2013 and promoters who put it all together, but most of all you the fans who have supported our return to the stage! All of you guys who have come out to show your support and love for the music that our brethren Hart Bachmier put so much of himself into have been amazing!!! I’m sure he would be overwhelmed by the response!

“We are all extremely proud to be back out playing this music and you all have made it so worth while and we can’t wait to share with you the big things coming up for DOP in 2014!

“Cheers and have a great new year!”
