Deathgrave Premiere New Song “Live Fast Die Slow” From Upcoming Debut Album “So Real, It’s Now”

San Jose deathgrind unit DEATHGRAVE — featuring members of Brainoil and Amber Asylum among others — will release its So Real, It’s Now debut full-length via Tankcrimes Records this June.

The fourteen-track ear-bleeder was captured at Earhammer Studios in Oakland (Necrot, Autopsy) by guitarist/renowned sound engineer Greg Wilkinson (Brainoil, ex-Laudanum, ex-Graves At Sea).

So Real, It’s Now will see release on CD, vinyl, and digital formats via Tankcrimes on June 22nd.

Brainoil Streaming Selt-Titled Album Re-Issue

Tankcrimes just re-issued Brainoil’s self-titled, debut full-length, originally issued via Life Is Abuse Records in 2003 but out-of-print for over five years.

The monolithic Brainoil was recorded by Dan Rathburn at Polymorph Studios (Tragedy, His Hero Is Gone) and delivers seven predatory anthems of sonic battery which happen to be streaming in all their pulverizing glory below, courtesy of Cvlt Nation.

The “Brainoil” reissue is out now on CD and vinyl limited to 500 copies in two color variants: 150 – gold, bone, brown mashed and 350 – bone. All orders come with a download card to satiate your digital listening pleasures.

The Body Announces U.S. Tour Dates With Thou

Having just knocked out a nine-date rampage with Zoroaster and Black Cobra, The Body has now confirmed the band’s next run of live assaults just after the turn into the year of Armageddon.

Embarking out of Fort Worth, Texas on January 6th the duo will bludgeon the North American West Coast with their end-time hymns, packing as many shows as possible into the tour, including a pair of performances in Portland and Seattle on the same day, their first-ever venture in Mexico and more.

Baton Rouge-based sludge outfit Thou will tour alongside The Body for the entire trek, and regional acts like Christian Mistress, Brainoil and more will join on specific dates. Dates are as follows:

Brainoil Streaming "Gravity Is A Relic" Song From Upcoming Vinyl Release

Brooklyn Vegan is currently hosting a stream of “Gravity Is A Relic,” the second track and first public display of turmoil captured on Brainoil’s upcoming second album, “Death Of This Dry Season.”

“Death Of This Dry Season” is set for vinyl/digital worldwide release on August 2nd, 2011 via the 20 Buck Spin label.

The artwork on the LP, which can be found at this location, was handled by Feeding (Jon K from Iron Lung with his partner Nic Schmidt) and includes a 24×24 inch poster insert created especially for this release.
