Misery Index Premiere New Music Video For “Naysayer”

Misery Index premiere a new official music video for their track “Naysayer” off their latest record, “Rituals Of Power“.

Say the band of the song:

“In order to celebrate the launch of our first tour for the new album, we offer a video for the track ‘Naysayer.’ The video was filmed several weeks ago at our rehearsal space in Baltimore and is intended to capture the band/us in our most primal creative setting. The idea was to bring to life and visually animate what is perhaps the most ferocious, unrelenting song on the album.

‘Naysayer‘ is to the point; it pulls the hoods off those who seek to hide behind walls (either material or digital) and calls them out for their inveracity and inhumanity. I am sure we all know a few ‘naysayers.’ Turn it up, let it rip and sing along.”

In related news, Misery Index will begin the following European tour with Wormrot, The Lion’s Daughter and Truth Corroded today:

Cult Of Luna signs worldwide deal with Metal Blade Records

– March 20th, 2019 –

Announces European tour

Metal Blade Records is proud to welcome Cult Of Luna to its worldwide roster! For almost 20 years, Cult Of Luna have imposed themselves as one of the world’s leading post-metal lights. Constantly evolving, the band pushes the genre’s boundaries from album to album so as to explore the darkest and mistiest, as well as the driest and most abrupt, landscapes.

Cult Of Luna comments: “We’re thrilled to announce our collaboration with Metal Blade and the creation of our new home: Red Creek, that will handle Cult Of Luna‘s future productions. This is a dawn to an exciting journey to come.”

Cult Of Luna hasn’t debuted any new material under their sole name since Vertikal 1&2 (2013). In 2016, the Mariner album – which was made in collaboration with Julie Christmas (Battle Of Mice, Made Out Of Babies) – was released, and praised by both fans and critics. A DVD, entitled Years In A Day, followed in April 2017, which also saw much success.

Stay tuned for more news about Cult Of Luna‘s first album in several years – and their Metal Blade Records debut – coming soon!

Recognized for their apocalyptic live performances that unrestrainedly explore the audience’s imagination, transposing music-triggered sensations visually, Cult Of Luna will bring their stunning live show to fans across Europe later this year – appearing at both festivals this summer, as well as headlining a tour in Nov./Dec. with A.A Williams. Ketzer launches new single “The Wind Brings Them Horses”

– March 13th, 2019 –

Announces European tour!

On April 12th, German extreme metallers Ketzer will release their fourth full-length, Cloud Collider, via Metal Blade Records.

Looking on Ketzer‘s musical history, change is what has always defined their sound. From thrashing riffs to atmospheric blackened tunes, Ketzer is a band that has always aimed to defy genres. So what can we expect on Cloud Collider? Nothing more than a ride on a storm cloud, followed by a soft breeze in your face and, finally, a cleansing rainfall. Ketzer‘s fourth effort will surprise many as a shift into yet another direction, combining many of the band’s essential trademarks and carrying them one step further: Raging drum beats, harsh and powerfully thrashing riffs, as well as epic melodies that will haunt you long after the last tone has faded away. After years of intense work, Ketzer have created an album that can only be described as a milestone in their career and a clean break from all expectations: this album is a storm.

For three years now, Ketzer has been working on something new, and the result is something new indeed: somehow linking all trademarks essential to the sound of Ketzer, now and then, but taking it all one big step further. These new tunes might well be the strongest Ketzer songs to date. Recorded at Markus Stock’s infamous “Klangschmiede Studio E” as well as Laurent Teubls “Sculpt Sound Studios” in autumn 2018, the suitable visual expression for this new effort has been found by cover artist Adam Burke and illustrator Johannes Stahl.

Ketzer checked in with the following comment about Cloud Collider: “Lately, we have been possessed by storms. First there is a breeze, then the sky darkens: A sense of electric energy starts to fill the air. A sense of sheer power, building up, waiting to erupt. ‘Cloud Collider‘ will strike you like a force of nature. When recording an album after months of hard work, blood and sweat, it is always our greatest wish, accompanied by the most terrifying fears, that the recordings will be able to ‘catch’ the songs and their certain, special spark. When we hear the final result for the first time, we have to think: ‘THIS is how the next chapter must sound’. Only then, we can be satisfied. With all the more pride and joy we can now say about ‘Cloud Collider‘, that both is the case, and it is without a single doubt! THIS is how Ketzer has to sound in 2019! It is new and it is old and it is everything. It is fast and it is slow and we just can’t wait to bring these songs to the stage. This album is a piece of work that we feel embodies all aspects that stand and stood for the sound of Ketzer now and then. An album that manages to still go one step further to form something new!”

For a preview of Cloud Collider, the album’s new single, “The Wind Brings Them Horses”, can now be checked out here: youtu.be/AU3-Sg3YZ_8

Ketzer checked in with the following comment: “Prepare yourself for the second single of our new album ‘Cloud Collider‘! Winds may turn into Storms. And today ‘the wind brings them horses’!”

Visigoth Announces European Tour Dates

2018 was the breakthrough year for American Heavy Metallers Visigoth and 2019 is looking just as bright for the Salt Lake City powerforce!

Last week the band launched the video for “Traitor’s Gate” (watch below) and graced the cover of the latest issue of Deaf Forever magazine, now Visigoth is happy to announce a full European run through Europe in May and June! The tour is accompanied by the release of a 7” with two brand new songs. More details on the 7” shortly!

Comments Visigoth: “We are emerging from the abyss with a new two-song 7” that we are looking forward to unleashing onstage across Europe this summer! Of course this is just a foreshadowing of bigger things to come, but we hope that the hordes will be placated – if temporarily – by this humble offering. We’ll leave it up to the listener to explore the unifying theme that ties the lyrics and artwork together, but rest assured that musically not much has changed. Love it or hate it, this is still straightfoward heavy metal done the way we’ve always done it. Without further ado, the road calls once again, and we answer with fervent hunger!”
