Rotting Christ Posts Another New Song “Vetry Zlye” Online

Greek extreme metal favourites Rotting Christ has posted another song from their forthcoming album, “The Heretics” online. You can check out the lyric video for the song, “Vetry Zlye” below. “The Heretics” will be released next Friday (February 15th) through Season Of Mist and will be their first album of all new material since the 2016 effort, “Rituals.”

Frontman Sakis Tolis comments on behalf of the band: “Dear fellows, I am in the pleasant position to present to you another new song I wrote for Rotting Christ; ‘????? ????’ (Vetry Zlye)’, a song that was influenced by paganism and specifically from the Slavic pagan religions through the history of time and exalts the power of mother nature. I Hope you will enjoy the (probably) most melodic song from our upcoming album The Heretics, which is accompanied by the beautiful voice of Irina Zybina.”

Steelheart will release new album “Through Worlds Of Stardust” on September 15th via Frontiers Music Srl. A video for album track “You Got Me Twisted” has now come online today and can be seen below. Of the video, Miljenko Matijevic told Ultimate Classic Rock:

“This video was so much fun to make! It is funny, sexy, and rock ‘n roll, as it should be. The scenes in the mansion were filmed at a famous old house which was the home of English film director James Whale during the making of his four classic films: Frankenstein (1931), The Old Dark House (1932), The Invisible Man (1933), and Bride of Frankenstein (1935).

“The performance scenes were filmed in downtown Los Angeles. My film team and the beautiful actress and model, Shonda Mackey did an amazing job on the video! I am truly excited for the world to see it and I hope you all like the video as much as we had fun making it!”

Scuorn Premieres New Music Video For “Sepeithos” From Latest Album “Parthenope”

Neapolitan symphonic black metal band Scuorn premieres a new music video for “Sepeithos”, taken from the band’s latest album “Parthenope”, which was released in February through the Dusktone label. The release was recorded, mixed, and mastered at the 16th Cellar Studio in Rome by Stefano “Saul” Morabito (Fleshgod Apocalypse, Hour of Penance, etc.).

Check out now “Sepeithos” below.

Explains Scuorn:

“The song reveals the legend of gods Vesevo (the volcano Vesuvius) and Sebeto (Sepeithos in ancient greek, a river who used to divide the city of Neapolis from its older part Palepolis). The giants battled over the beautiful daughter of Neputune, Leucopetra, spreading destruction all around: Vesevo was spitting torrents of fire, while Sebeto smashed stones into a water causing it to splash and to put out the flames. Their presence and dominance were respected and honored by the first Neapolitan settlers, who handed down their lore through the centuries.”
