Alice Cooper To Release New Live Album, “A Paranormal Evening With Alice Cooper”

Following the release of the 2017 studio album “Paranormal,” which was the best chart-performing album by Alice Cooper in decades, the American rock legend took his exciting live show all over the world, accompanied by “the best band he has ever had.”

After an entire year spent on the road, the Paranormal Tour ended in Paris on December 7th, 2017 at the world renowned Olympia, a theatre that is iconic in the truest sense of the word. The Olympia, since opening in 1888, has witnessed changes in entertainment and pop culture for 130 years from the can-can through Édith Piaf to Johnny Hallyday and the Beatles and now… Alice Cooper!

This 90-minute rock show is a journey through Alice Cooper’s timeless creations: classics like “Poison,” “School’s Out,” and “No More Mr. Nice Guy” are alternated with hand-picked gems for the joy of true Cooper connoisseurs like “Pain,” “Woman of Mass Destruction,” and “Paranoiac Personality,” the first single from the album “Paranormal.”

The album captures a rock ‘n’ roll show at its peak and is one of the best live releases by Alice Cooper, featuring his longtime band guitarists Nita Strauss, Tommy Henriksen and Ryan Roxie, bassist Chuck Garric, and drummer Glen Sobel in front of an excited audience.

The album will be released on August 31st on earMUSIC as 2CD digipak, 2LP Gatefold (white and red LP), and digitally.

Live Stream Of New Album Release Show Announced By Satyricon

Only one duo is able to evoke sinister settings like the world of bleak woods lurking behind Norwegian wafts of mist. And that duo is legendary Satyricon. Formed in Oslo in 1991, Satyricon made an immediate and enduring impact when emerging from the flourishing Norwegian black metal scene.

With the brand new opus titled “Deep calleth upon Deep,” the iconic masters Satyr and Frost properly dispense the darkest art of metal. Satyricon’s highly anticipated ninth studio album will be coming out this Friday, September 22nd, on Napalm Records.

To celebrate the upcoming record, the band will play an exclusive and very special album release show – on the rooftop of the KLP building in the heart of Oslo!

300 fans will exclusively experience Satyricon live at this very special event, but the release concert will also be streamed live to fans around the world, before the band leaves for an extensive world tour!

“I always thought the Beatles gig on top of the Apple building in London, 1969, was such an intriguing thing and it really feels like a privilege to be able to do something like this ourselves. In our hometown too! Since this is to celebrate the release of “Deep calleth upon Deep”, we don’t want to exclude those who can’t be there with us that night, so I’m glad it’s being streamed worldwide. We’ll play the whole record and we’ll do it in style!” Satyricon frontman & visionary Satyr informs us.

Save the date and make sure to check into Satyricon’s Facebook page this Friday, September 22nd at 9pm CEST, when the masters of dark art will take over the city of Oslo for one of the most special shows to date!

Krokus To Release New Album “Dirty Dynamite”

Krokus will be releasing new album “Dirty Dynamite” on March 5th via The End Records. The cover artwork and track listing are available below, and The End Records also issued the following press release:

“For almost 40 years now, Krokus has stood for high-quality, honest-to-goodness, hand-made power rock. No other Swiss rock band sells albums and its back catalogue worldwide like Krokus. The band has already sold over 14 million records, toured the world, and received gold and platinum discs in the USA and Canada. The milestones in their rock career are dotted around the world: from Australia and the USA to Mexico, Russia, Japan, and China.

“But it hasn’t all been one long high: death, sickness, and internal strife have pushed the band to the brink of collapse. The story of Krokus is like no other. Dotted with highs and lows, sell-out stadium concerts and sweaty club gigs, these five musketeers of rock have outlasted trends and survived treacherous US managers, tough splits, bad deals, shady lawyers, drugs, awful fast food, endless bus trips, disco, grunge, grotesque record companies, and double-dealing advisors.

“Today they are back in their classic line-up plus Mandy Meyer and are stronger than ever on their new album, Dirty Dynamie The band spent a whole two years working on the new album under the watchful eye of Chris Von Rohr.”

“We didn’t spend all that time on golf courses or tennis courts. No, we just wanted to make our best album yet, the magnum opus of the new Krokus era,” says the producer. Guitarist Mark Kohler has this to add: “This is not just another Krokus album. I think we have definitely passed another rock milestone with this record.”

To reach this goal, no expense was spared; the band booked the Abbey Road Studios in London. Krokus went back to its roots, back to where it all began with the Stones, the Beatles, the Free, the Who, and the Bluesbreakers; back to where the band headlined concerts in the Hammersmith Odeon, celebrating its first international success. “The atmosphere there is very special, and we wanted to make the most of that,” says singer Marc Storace. Guitarist Fernando von Arb is quick to add: “With Dirty Dynamite, we have recorded the urgently needed, dirty kind of rock that no one plays in this country.”

01. Hallelujah Rock’n’Roll
02. Go Baby Go
03. Rattlesnake Rumble
04. Dirty Dynamite
05. Let The Good Times Roll
06. Help
07. Better Than Sex
08. D
