Basilysk Premiere New Song “Molestor of Dreams” From Upcoming New Album “Emergence”

Old-school death metal band Basilysk have just released their new single “Molestor of Dreams” over at Metal Injection. The song is taken from their new album Emergence, which will be released in February.

Listen to the song below:

Comment the band:

“Musicians and artists are constantly bombarded with negativity from the plebian collective for pursuing a career which utilizes their natural-born talents. These cancerous doubts are ignited by jelousy, pursuit of control, or because your goals are considered too unrealistic through the mundane lens. “Molester of Dreams” is about this type of psychic invasion, and also our anthem to keep fighting against the bastards.”

Exodus & Municipal Waste Announce “Mr. Pickles Thrashtacular Tour” Winter U.S. Tour

Exodus and Municipal Waste will be going on a winter tour together sponsored by Adult Swim‘s animated series, ‘Mr. Pickles‘. The run has been dubbed the ‘Mr. Pickles Thrashtacular Tour‘ and kicks off around the February 25th premiere of season three of the aforementioned series.

Explains Municipal Waste guitarist Ryan Waste:

“We go way back with Will and Dave, the creators of Mr. Pickles. They come from Richmond, VA as well and even shot our first music video for ‘Unleash the Bastards’. We’ve remained good friends throughout all our endeavors and when they asked us to be part of this tour there was no hesitation on our part.

The icing on the cake was when Exodus came on board. We’re no stranger to touring with these maniacs and we’ve shared some wild times on the road over the years (at least from what I can remember!) It’s gonna be one helluva trip, hitting the US club circuit with our brothers in Exodus and seeing our old friends along the way.”

Dates for the run are as follows:

02/22 Seattle, WA – Neumos
02/23 Portland, OR – Hawthorne Theatre
02/25 San Francisco, CA – The Regency Ballroom

Ghoul’s “Dungeon Bastards” Lands On The Charts

“Dungeon Bastards” is the newest studio recording from the notorious Creepsylvanian hooded menaces in Ghoul.

Released via Tankcrimes on July 29th, the record devoured Billboard Charts upon its first week of release debuting at #11 on the Heatseekers Chart, #13 on the Top Vinyl Albums Chart, #13 on the Hard Rock Chart, and #27 on the Independent Albums Chart.

Not only does “Dungeon Bastards” serve as the first Ghoul record to enter the Billboard Charts, it’s also the first-ever charting album of Tankcrimes’ extended discography.

Ghoul’s Digestor commented: “Instead of noting the obvious and stunning decline of the recording industry, I want to focus on the positive aspects of Ghoul charting. Mainly, that our newfound industry clout will allow us to crush our enemies, humiliate our friends, and generally live lives of consequence-free skullduggery from now until the end of time. Which should be somewhere around the beginning of your American month of November.”

Adds Tankcrimes head Scotty Heath, “I’m absolutely thrilled!”
