Hour Of Penance Announces Australian Tour Dates With Behemoth

Italian death metal quartet Hour of Penance has announced the band’s first-ever Australian tour dates, which will see the group supporting Behemoth. The tour will kick off in late October following a European tour with Psycroptic and Dyscarnate. The full routing for both tours can be found below.

Lead guitarist Giulio Moschini stated, “We’re very happy to announce that we will tour Australia for the first time, and we will do that by opening for one of the greatest bands around…Behemoth! We couldn’t be happier to end the ‘Sedition’ touring cycle by touring with such a great band! See you on the road!”

The band has recently been writing material for a new album. Says Moschini, “The works for the follow-up of ‘Sedition’ are almost done and we will enter the studio in October, right after the Australian tour. Can’t wait!”

Fellow guitarist Paolo Pieri added, “The new material sounds totally fresh and will be a bone-crushing feast for old and new fans of Hour of Penance.”

The upcoming album is expected out in early 2014. Catch the band live:
