Augury Inks Record Deal With The Artisan Era

The wait is nearly over! Montreal-based progressive death metal crew Augury has been hard at work the last few years writing and recording a highly-anticipated third album to follow 2009’s “Fragmentary Evidence.”

Today the band is proud to announce signing a record deal with rising extreme metal label The Artisan Era, which will be followed by the release of Augury’s 3rd album in 2018.

The Canadian group comments: “We are proud to announce that Augury has teamed with The Artisan Era Records for the release of our third album. While the recording is entering the mixing/mastering process with Chris Donaldson (Cryptopsy) at The Grid Studios, Augury is back with a new creation, lyrically influenced by lost civilizations and their enigmas, musically following the roots from the two predecessors, 2004’s ‘Concealed,’ and 2009’s ‘Fragmentary Evidence.’ The album’s artwork and title will be disclosed in a further statement, so brace yourselves for its emergence in Spring 2018!”

This is by far the absolute worse stage sound we ever had, I heard nothing but Mat’s high frequencies and heard only the parts where I scream from the top of my lungs. Our ears still hurt…”
