Recording is scheduled to take place at Das Boot Studio later this year, while the album is planned for release in early 2015. Manifest comments:

“We’re happy to announce that Manifest has signed a record deal with the Swedish label/management ViciSolum Productions (Diabolical, Exeloume, Souldrainer). ViciSolum is a hard working, dedicated and ambitious label with a lot of killer bands on their roster. We have been in touch with them since 2011, when they did some promotion work for us when Written In Blood was released. Thomas (label manager) is a great guy and a true professional, we’re excited to be working with him.”

Manifest’s latest album “Written In Blood” was released in Norway in 2010 and the rest of Europe in 2011, by the band’s own label Violent Media.

Savage Messiah To Enter The Recording Studio

Savage Messiah has confirmed plans to enter the studio on July 1st to begin recording an as-yet untitled new studio album.

The band will be working on the follow-up to 2012’s “Plague of Conscience” with producer Scott Atkins (Sylosis, Behemoth) at Grindstone Studios in Suffolk. Savage Messiah frontman Dave Silver comments:

“We’re beyond excited to be fast approaching the day when we’ll head off back into Grindstone Studios, to work once more with Scott Atkins on what we can promise will be the most metal Savage Messiah CD yet! We’ve approached the writing process in a totally old school manner; just four guys in a rehearsal space getting a vibe going, playing heavy metal! Which has really allowed us to express the chemistry within the band and build on the musical foundation we laid with ‘Plague of Conscience’.

“We’re pleased to be working with Scott Atkins for the third time, as he understands the band and has always delivered above and beyond for us and we’ve no doubt that he’ll get the best out of us once again. We’ll be releasing titles, track listings, artwork etc. in due course. In the meantime, look out for plenty of studio video updates which we’ll be posting over at our official YouTube channel. So stay tuned!”

Diamond Plate Begins Recording New Album

Chicago thrashers Diamond Plate have begun recording their new studio album, which is due to be released later this year on Earache Records.

The as-yet untitled follow-up to Diamond Plate’s 2011 debut album “Generation Why?” is being recorded with producer Neil Kernon at Studio Chicago in the band’s hometown. Diamond Plate lead guitarist Konrad Kupiec comments:

“We are beyond excited to announce that we are in the studio recording our second album! The legendary Neil Kernon is helping us capture the new songs and the new energy of the band in the traditional way that classic records were made. We decided to step away from the modern approach to albums by recording the band playing live in the same room together and keeping everything real. Everybody can expect this record to be faster and heavier than ever, but most of all they can expect the unexpected.”
