Emmure Announces “Look At Yourself” Chart Positions

Hailed by numerous critics as the group’s best work to date, the new record from metalcore heavyweights Emmure, “Look At Yourself,” has debuted with strong first week sales.

The follow-up to 2014’s “Eternal Enemies” moved over 7,400 units (outperforming the previous record’s first week by nearly 1,000 copies). The new album lands at #2 on the Billboard Hard Music chart and #3 on the Rock Music chart.

The band has toured aggressively for the last month supporting this record, and will conclude a North American run with After The Burial next week at So What Music Festival on March 25th. Catch the band live:

Emmure Releases “Smokey” Music Video

Emmure today unleashed seventh studio album, “Look At Yourself,” via Sharptone Records. The new record showcases some of the band’s most aggressive and introspective music to date, and now the band has dropped a music video for the track “Smokey,” which can be viewed below.

In addition to the album release, Emmure remains on the road as part of the “Carry The Flame” U.S. tour with After The Burial. A complete list of the remaining dates can be found after the video clip.

Speaking about the release of “Look At Yourself,” Frankie Palmeri (vocals) states, “It’s hard to put in only a few words what ‘Look At Yourself’ means to us. We are beyond excited to be sharing this album with the world. It’s everything an Emmure record is supposed to be and more.”

Arkaik Announces Tech Trek II Tour Dates With Archspire

Progressive death metal collective Arkaik will kick off the Tech Trek II tour with Archspire next month. The tour will begin March 17th in Tacoma, Washington and coil its way through nearly two dozen cities across the country, coming to a close on April 6th in Boise, Idaho. See all confirmed dates below.

Arkaik is currently working on the follow-up to 2015’s “Lucid Dawn” full-length album. The as yet-untitled studio offering will again be engineered, mixed and mastered by Zack Ohren (Suffocation, Fallujah, Wrvth, All Shall Perish et al.) at Sharkbite Studios in Oakland, California. Additionally, The Kennedy Veil’s Gabe Seeber will be recording drums while Alex Bent joins Trivium on a European tour. Additional details are to be unveiled in the coming weeks.

Emmure Gearing Up For U.S. Tour Dates Supporting “Look At Yourself”

Emmure’s upcoming seventh studio album, “Look At Yourself,” will see a March 3rd worldwide release via SharpTone Records.

Just prior to the release, Emmure will embark on a month-long trek in North America alongside After The Burial for the “Carry The Flame” tour, which begins on February 22nd in Cleveland, OH.

To give listeners a taste of what they can expect from Look At Yourself, the band has released two new songs off the album, “Russian Hotel Aftermath” and “Torch,” which can be streamed below.

Archspire Announces Headlining U.S. Tour Dates

Technical death metal force Archspire just announced a headlining U.S. tour. The tour begins on March 18th, and sees the band touring across the country before concluding on April 5th. A full list of confirmed tour dates can be found below.

Archspire recently finished recording a forthcoming new album at Flatline Audio in August with producer Dave Otero. The as-yet untitled new record will follow highly -egarded 2014 release
“The Lucid Collective.”

Working track titles for the new album include “Involuntary Doppelgänger,” “Relentless Mutation,” and “From Solitude to Infamy.” The new record will be released later this year.
