Greek Symphonic Dark Metal Outfit W.E.B. Sign With Alpha Omega Management

Alpha Omega Management is thrilled to announce the signing of the Greek Symphonic Dark Metallers W.E.B.

W.E.B. is a Dark / Black / Death / Goth Metal band based in the ashes of Athens – Greece. The Fall of 2002AD was the time that the idea of W.E.B. was born and started to take a lifeform shape from an embryonic state to a music challenge expressing darkness and death through adrenaline and poetry. An expression both straight but at the same time theatrical. W.E.B. is here to move you, provoke you, and invite you to the journey through ravendark starless nights with a fire made of Metal music. Their fourth album, “Tartarus” came out on November 10th (2017) via Apathia Records, which is probably the band’s most diverse album, so far! “Tartarus” focuses on a deeper inclusion of orchestrations, making it sound more epic, while keeping the band’s very own Dark Metal genre. The album also features a noticeable guest apparition by Sotiris Vayenas (Septic Flesh) on the ninth track “Thanatos Part I – Golgotha”.

Stated W.E.B.:

“We have reached the point of our journey that we are ready to take one step ahead. The cooporation of W.E.B. with Alpha Omega Management will bring us closer to our achievments and closer to the best people out there, that is our fans.”

Alpha Omega Management adds:

“We’re extremely pleased to welcome W.E.B. to our roster family! These guys are Epic, their music captures you with their theatrical dark poetry, brainstorming your thoughts to a new level, like a morbid and disturbing nightmare, but at the same time like a form of therapy. W.E.B. it’s definitely an obscure journey to an invisible world right next to us. Take your seat and enjoy the ride!”

Deficiency Navigates “Uncharted Waters” With New Song Stream

A little more than three years after previous conceptual album “The Prodigal Child,” French group Deficiency is back with new concept album “The Dawn of Consciousness,” due out via Apathia Records on March 24th.

A lyric video for advance track “Uncharted Waters” has come online and can be seen below. Apatha Records also comments:

“Deficiency musically goes further in melodic, agressive and technical aspects of songwriting. Heavy parts, modern patterns, furious leads or catchy chorus are meeting to join a thrash ,etal basis and to form an efficient alliance for fans of extreme music. ‘The Dawn Of Consciousness’ is a new concept album describing men’s rebirth after chaos and the way they seize this second chance through six primitive emotions shared by every human being on earth: surprise, sadness, joy, anger, fear and disgust.”

Orakle Posts “Éclats” Making-Of Videos

Orakle has uploaded two making-of video clips online from the upcoming album, “Éclats,” which can be seen below. The album is due out May 11th via Apathia Records, and the label had this to say:

“Seven years have passed since the band’s last opus, 2008’s ‘Tourments & Perdition.’ Seven years that have allowed the band to build a very personal and audacious album, where black metal from the beginning merges with a more experimental and dissonant metal of Virus, Leprous, Hail Spirit Noir, and and some prog rock influences, with French-only lyrics. Pre-orders will start on February 16th.”

Orakle Inks Deal With Apathia Records

After two albums released in 2005 (“Uni aux cimes”) and 2008 (“Tourments & Perdition”), Orakle had disappeared from the scene, but 2015 will mark the return of the French metallers, with a long-awaited third album and a signing on Apathia Records.

Entitled “Éclats,” this new chapter was produced by the band, mixed at Henosis studios by Frédéric Gervais, and mastered by Bruno Gruel / Elektra Mastering.

Many years of work have been necessary for Orakle to achieve a very personal and audacious album, where the sophisticated black metal of the band’s beginning merges with a tortuous and experimental metal, but also with progressive rock and exclusively French lyrics.

“Éclats” will be released on May 11th via Apathia Records, with pre-orders starting on February 16th. Stay tuned for more details.
