Cannibal Corpse enlist Erik Rutan to fill in for Pat O’Brien on upcoming tours

– January 18th, 2019 –

Cannibal Corpse have announced that Erik Rutan will fill in for guitarist Pat O’Brien as O’Brien tends to personal issues. Rutan will appear live with the band for the Decibel Magazine Tour and the upcoming US leg of Slayer‘s final tour happening this May alongside Slayer, Lamb of God, and Amon Amarth. This won’t be the first time these death metal powerhouses have worked together; Rutan has produced four albums with Cannibal Corpse (Kill, Evisceration Plague, Torture, Red Before Black) and is uniquely equipped to fill the role – he is one of the death metal’s most acclaimed guitarists and is known for his time as part of Morbid Angel (who are co headlining the Decibel tour alongside Cannibal) throughout the 90s and early 2000s, as well as handling vocals/guitars and production duties for his current band Hate Eternal.

Amon Amarth releases live video for “Guardians of Asgaard” online

– December 10th, 2018 –

Announces North American tour dates with Slayer, Lamb of God, Cannibal Corpse

Amon Amarth recently released their new documentary and supporting live album(s), The Pursuit Of Vikings: 25 Years In The Eye Of The Storm – which includes a retrospective documentary that features a wealth of live and behind-the-scenes content and extensive band interviews. This film tells the Swedish quintet’s history, through both their own eyes and those of the fans that have supported them along the way. It is a thrilling collection that pays respect to the faithful, as well as making for a detailed and riveting introduction for those new to their inspiring story. Paired with this documentary is the live video/audio, which contains two different sets at 2017′s Summer Breeze Festival in Dinkelsbuhl, Germany, capturing the unit at their very best.

For a preview of The Pursuit Of Vikings, a new live video for “Guardians of Asgaard” can be viewed at: thepursuitofvikings.com – where The Pursuit Of Vikings can also be purchased in various formats.

Amon Amarth will join Slayer on tour this May for “Leg Five: North America” of Slayer‘s Final World Tour. Featuring additional support from Lamb of God and Cannibal Corpse, this is one show not to be missed!

Amon Amarth comments: “We are very excited to hit the road with Slayer again!
