New Album, New Single – “Bleak Ocean” Revealed By Fallen Mankind

Sweden’s Fallen Mankind announced that the new melodic metal album “Bleak Ocean” is coming worldwide on June 16th via Dr. Music Records. A lyric video for the title track can be heard in the player below. The album was originally issued independently in September 2016.

The album consists of ten tracks which contain everything a fan of timeless melodic metal sounds needs: Powerful riffs, energetic drums and Mats Hedfors (ex-Red Baron) as an outstanding singer. With this mixed and mastered album by Daniel Gese in the Realtime Record Studios (Bloodlust, Casanovas, Satana) metalheads that like bands such as Bloodbound, Armored Dawn and Nocturnal Rites will find their new favorite in the CD rack. The album deals with the current desolate state of the world, where corruption, egoism and misguided fanaticism prevail.

The track listing for the album is:

1. Bleak Ocean
2. Pheonix Rise
3. Murder She Screamed
4. Freedom Calls
5. By My Side
6. Shine
7. Obliteration
8. Bury Me Alive
9. Liars And Snakes
10. Unknown

Rising Finishes Work On Third Full-Length Album

Danish metal four piece Rising just completed work on a forthcoming third album to be released in April of 2016 as the band gears up for a string of first shows in over two years.

Formed in 2008, Rising released two DIY EPs, building momentum with the “To Solemn Ash” debut LP in 2011 and the follow-up “Abominor” in 2013. Following the recordings of “Abominor,” the trio dissolved, and as the sole remaining member guitarist Jacob Krogholt has since then rebuilt the band with original drummer Martin Niemann, bass player Bjarke Kofoed and singer Morten Grønnegaard.

The new Rising lineup entered the studio in August and September to record the band’s third album with producer Jacob Bredahl (By The Patient, The Kandidate, etc.), who also mixed the effort, while Brad Boatright (Nails, Converge, etc.) has overseen the mastering.

The yet-untitled album consists of ten songs, still undeniably Rising in its crushing heaviness, firm songwriting and intricate arrangements, while Grønnegaard with his more melodic vocals lends a classic metal vibe to the band. The album will be released via Indisciplinarian in April and will be backed by touring in the group’s native Denmark and abroad. Currently announced dates include:

11/13/2015 Stengade – Copenhagen, DK w/ Galvano
11/27/2015 Radar – Aarhus, DK w/ By The Patient
11/28/2015 Ved Amagerbanen 9 – Copenhagen, DK w/ By The Patient
11/19/2015 Templet – Lyngby DK @ Black Christmas w/ Redwood Hill

“Awe’s debut, Providentia, is a transformative act in three parts about the total violent revolution of man in the face of an absurd, meaningless existence. Apey And The Pea Streaming “The Devil’s Nectar” Album

Apey and the Pea come from an unlikely background: founded in 2009, in Budapest, the band was originally known as Remembering The Steel – merely a Pantera tribute band.

Somewhere along the way, the trio began to smoke, jam and, write the songs that would later become Apey and the Pea.

Now the band is excited to announce the release of debut full-length “The Devil’s Nectar.” The album consists of 9-tracks that have been described as “Intronaut with Layne Staley on vocals and Down’s rhythm section.” Check it out below.
