Anima Posts New Video Clip “Here Come”

Anima is a metal band formed by brothers Alvaro and Diego Bueno Triveño, combining different sound elements own and foreign of the metal world. Recently, the band finished the recording and editing of the debut self-titled album coming soon.

Ahead of the debut release, the band released a music video for the song “Here Come.” Anima offers a variety of styles with elements of power/symphonic metal and industrial, that are worth checking out. See the clip here:

New Album “Fragments Of Anger” Announced By Wreck-Defy, Shawn Drover To Guest

Canadian thrash act Wreck-Defy announced the impending release of “Fragments of Anger,” the new album coming via Alone Records on October 31st. The album features ex-Megadeth drummer Shawn Drover (Act Of Defiance/Eidolon).

“Fragments of Anger” is described as 43 minutes of classic thrash with intense riffing and melodic, yet aggressive vocals. It was produced, mixed and mastered by ex-Megadeth guitarist (and brother of Shawn) Glenn Drover.

Mexican traditional metal act Battle Raider is streaming the eponymous track “Battle Raider,” which you can enjoy in the player below. The song appears on the band’s upcoming sophomore self-titled album coming August 21st via Fighter Records.

New Video “Gods Of Violence” Issued By Kreator

German thrash titans Kreator released a video clip for the new song “Gods Of Violence.” Check it out in the player below. The song is the track of the band’s 14th studio album coming January 27th via Nuclear Blast Records.

“Gods Of Violence” was recorded under the watchful eyes of producer Jens Bogren (Opeth, Amon Amarth, Katatonia) who also mixed the record at renowned Fascination Street Studios. Mastering was done by Tony Lindgren, also at Fascination Street Studios.

Valley Of The Sun just unveiled a new video for “The Hunt,” taken off the “Volume Rock” album coming April 29th, 2016 via Fuzzorama Records. Check it out below.

Terminal Depression, which features Dave Ephgrave from Nierty and Eric Horner from Throne of Malediction, has now released a debut EP for free download. Eric Horner comments:

Abigail Williams Cancels Breakup, Working On New Album To See Release In 2013

Despite performing a “farewell” tour and insisting the band was being dissolved, Abigail Williams apparently hasn’t bothered with any actual down time before getting to work on a new album and follow-up to “Becoming” (reviewed here).

The band commented on Facebook: “New album coming in 2013… We are happy to announce that Ashley Ellyllon will rejoin Abigail Williams for our fourth full length album. Although we did not announce it or make it public she also worked on our last album ‘Becoming’ with us. Anyone with a CD booklet can see that though… wink wink.”

Further details on the upcoming post-“breakup” album and tour dates will be announced as they are made available.

Ordinance Working On New Album, Two Members Join The Haarp Machine

Vocalist Mike Semesky of Maryland act Ordinance has issued the following announcement about working on a new album and joining another band:

“Hey guys, Mike here with an Ordinance update! As you may or may not know, Alex and I have joined The|HAARP|Machine. We’re both thrilled to be a part of this project hailing from the lovely United Kingdom, and we have an album coming out via Sumerian Records on October 16th (cough)Buy it(cough)!

“Although Alex and I will be tied up with THM, Ordinance is still very much alive. In fact, we are almost done writing our second album! Yes, you read that correctly; our second full length album is almost fully written!
