Killswitch Engage Vocalist Jesse Leach To Undergo Vocal Chord Surgery, Band Cancels Shows

Killswitch Engage has announced that they have had to cancel a number of shows due to vocalist Jesse Leach needed vocal chord surgery. A statement from the band reads thusly:

“Earlier today we found out Jesse needs to have surgery to repair an issue with his vocal chords. He is expected to make a full recovery and be fine for any future touring, but to avoid any future risk we unfortunately have to pull off these dates now. Our intention is to postpone the headline shows in Sayreville, Louisville, Cleveland & Poughkeepsie and get back to our fans as soon as possible. New dates for those cities will be announced soon, so please hold onto your tickets.

“In the meantime our friends in Hatebreed, Candiria and The Word Alive still plan on continuing forward with these shows. Show them your support.

“Below are all the shows impacted by this. Tickets will be available for refund at your original price of purchase for the headline shows as noted below ***.

Black Dahlia Murder To Co-Headline Summer Slaughter Tour With Dying Fetus

Currently finishing work on an upcoming eighth full-length album, The Black Dahlia Murder will head back out on the road this summer as co-headliner of The Summer Slaughter Tour with Dying Fetus.

The U.S. trek — which runs from July 27th through August 26th — will also see The Black Dahlia Murder perform “Nocturnal” in its entirety in honor of the album’s ten-year anniversary. Lacuna Coil Joining Epica On Tour With Insomnium

Italian metal crew Lacuna Coil just announced the band will be joining Dutch symphonic group Epica on the North American leg of the band’s “Ultimate Principal” Tour.

This month long September trek marks Lacuna Coil’s first U.S. tour dates in over a year, as the band continues to support latest full-length studio effort, “Delirium.” Also joining Lacuna Coil and Epica on the trek are Insomnium & Elantris.
