Homicide Streaming Preview Of New Song "Overthrowing The Lie"

Chilean technical death metal act Homicide has put out a preview of the track “Overthrowing the LIe” via youtube. The track comes off the band’s as-yet-untitled new album, which will be released in 2013 through Wretched Decay Records and follows previous album “Mechanized Torments.” Check out the clip below.

All the band’s previous albums will also be re-released (in re-mastered format with new layouts) in 2013, starting off with the 2008 release “They Work For Me.”

Gun Barrel Unveils Album Art And Track Listing For New LP "Brace For Impact"

German traditional metal act Gun Barrel, after just signing with Massacre Records, has unveiled the album art and track listing for the forthcoming album “Brace For Impact,” which is due out on March 23, 2011. The album is the first LP since the 2008 release “Outlaw Invasion” and the first to feature new vocalist Patrick Sühl, who joined the band after the death of Xaver Drexler in March of 2010.

The track listing for “Brace For Impact” is as follows:

3. With Might Main
4. Diamond Bullets
5. Stand Your Ground

Moonspell has posted a video clip online titled “Headbanging Into 2012,” which is available via the band’s Facebook profile here. Moonspell also commented on the video:

“Silly but hearfelt 2012 greetings. The first video was a bit of a fail, so here we go again 😉 just loosing it to the riffs ouf our new album scheduled for the end of april via Napalm Records!happy 2012!!!”

In other recent Moonspell news, the band signed with Napalm Records and posted a new album video update online here. Further details on the follow-up to the band’s 2008 release “Night Eternal” will be announced as they are made available.

Gojira In Studio Recording New LP Due For 2012

French band Gojira entered a New York studio to record its fifth studio release and the first since the 2008 release “The Way Of All Flesh.”

The are targeting an early 2012 release, with a special EP on the way sooner which will feature special guest appearances from Devin Townsend, Meshuggah’s Fredrik Thordendal, Lamb Of God frontman Randy Blythe, In Flames singer Anders Fridén and Soulfly’s Max Cavalera!

Gojira are also seeking a new record deal.
