New Track "Don’t Believe These Tales" Streaming From Red Rose

Israeli melodic power metal act Red Rose is streaming the new track “Don’t Believe These Tales.” The track appears on the forthcoming second LP “On the Cusp of Change,” which is due for release on February 26, 2013.

Red Rose formed in 2010 in Netanya, Israel. Their music style turned out to be some sort of mixture of Melodic Hard Rock, Classic Heavy Metal and ‘Pomp Rock,’ playfully called among the band members ‘good music.’ When it came to choosing a name for the project, “Red Rose” wasn’t argued much. It seemed to precisely represent the band’s general vision: the beauty and romance of a dream along with the thorns of reality. When sketches were ready and it was time to rehearse and wrap up the material, everything came into place very quickly and the debut LP “Live The Life You’ve Imagined” became reality.

“On the Cusp of Change” was once again produced by Tommy Hansen at Jailhouse Studios, with Matan Shmuely (of Orphaned Land fame) sitting behind the drums. The album’s artwork was created by Jobert Mello (Primal Fear/Sabaton/Benedictum).

Vorum Streaming "Dance Of Heresy"

Neaera Reveals New Album "Ours Is The Storm" Details

Germany’s extreme metal act Neaera will release new album “Ours Is The Storm” through Metal Blade Records on March 5th in North America and on March 1st/4th in Europe. The band comments:

“We are very proud of this record and the hard work we put into making it. We hope that you will be as excited about it as we are. Once again, we trusted our good friend Alexander Dietz of Chemical Burn studio with the production as well as the mixing process. The mastering was handled by Tue Madsen at Antfarm studio. Vomit God Working On New Album, Announces Las Vegas Death Fest Appearance

Ossuary Industries recording artist Vomit God has been hard at work on a new album, with the band currently mixing and gearing up to start mastering shortly. A preview has also been posted online for a rough mix of the song “Addicted To Fermented Stem Cells,” which can be heard below.

Vomit God will be appearing at the Las Vegas Death Fest (June 14th and 15th, 2013) in support of the new album.

DoomSword Splits With Guitarist Alessio Berlaffa

Italy’s DoomSword has checked in with the following announcement about parting ways with guitarist Alessio Berlaffa:

“After 9 years of friendship and heavy metal, Alessio ‘Sacred Heart’ Berlaffa has parted ways with DoomSword. We wish to thank Alessio for everything and wish him the very best in the future!

“Gianluca Silvi (Battle Ram) and Matteo Carnio (Fury ‘n’ Grace) have joined DoomSword on guitars. Both are accomplished musicians and veterans of the Italian metal scene. Dare we say that the future of DoomSword is more promising than ever?

“The band is currently preparing a crushing show for Athens (in support of Warlord) and are rehearsing new material for DoomSword’s sixth album.

“Our fate is written, sword and shield: born to die on the battlefield! Nota Bene: Battle Ram and Fury ‘n’ Grace will continue their activity as normal.”
