April 26, 2012 Heavy Metal News No Comments

Calgary’s sonic duo Mares of Thrace released sophomore album “The Pilgrimage” this week via Sonic Unyon Metal, and now the first video to be crafted for the album is available.

The visual depiction of the album’s diverse fourth track “The Perpetrator,” the video was filmed and directed by Ian Hart of iHartVideo. MetalSucks has presented the debut of the action-packed video, which the band describes as “one of the filthiest, most vitriolic videos of the season,” right here.

Exclaim! Magazine is also still hosting a stream of “The Pilgrimage” in its entirety here.

Mares of Thrace will take to the road across North America for a solid month in conjunction with the release of “The Pilgrimage” next week as well, the first show taking place only two days after the album’s release.

April 14, 2014

Norwegian hardcore newcomer Barren Womb has debuted a new video for the song “Live Fast, Die” from the recently released album, “The Sun’s Not Yellow, It’s Chicken.” Check it out below, and you can also still stream the band’s full new album at this location . Barren Womb also comments on the video: “We wrote ‘Live Fast, Die’ around the time when we had just finished up ‘On the Origin of Fæces’ and it has been pretty much a constant in our live set ever since, so it seemed only natural that it should be the first song off the new record to have it’s own video.
