Wizard Rifle Announces New U.S. Tour Dates

Portland’s most wonderfully weird avant-doom specialists, Wizard Rifle, have been kicking up one hell of a racket with their Seventh Rule debut, “Speak Loud Say Nothing” (reviewed here). The album dropped on March 13th, and is currently streaming in full on Invisible Oranges at this location.

You’ve heard ‘em, now come see ‘em play! Wizard Rifle is hitting the road for a full U.S. tour, and will be playing alongside a host of bands like Diesto, Millions, Harpoon, Phantom Glue, Kowloon Walled City, Bell Witch, and more. Catch the band live on the following dates:

The Denver-based crusty metallic hardcore perpetrators in Call Of The Void, who recently recruited second guitarist Gabe Morales, will enter the studio later this month to record the follow-up to last year’s smoldering “Dragged Down A Dead End Path.” Titled “Ageless,” for this sophomore full-length the band will return to The Boar’s Nest in Salt Lake City with Andy Patterson (Subrosa, Eagle Twin, Gaza), who will also handle all mixing duties. The record will be mastered by Brad Boatright at Audioseige (Tragedy, From Ashes Rise, Integrity) and features artwork by Cult Leader vocalist Anthony Lucero.
